Claw-like designs were considered during early weapon concepting. These would function as "magic hands", letting the Elves "cast spells" while socketed into their armor. Players could tear the claws free to use as handheld weapons.

Later weapon designs drifted away from the claw appearance, though all still had a symbiotic quality with Elvish armor.

"Skybreaker"- This piece noted the first shift in elf design away from organic shape language and introduced more angular, geometric patterning to their attire. The Elves also transitioned to a magisterial role in the narrative, reflected in the design.

The final concept push for the Elves incorporated both clean geometric forms and organic flowing lines. Their exoskeleton drew inspiration from Celtic knots, nodding to the cultural origins of mythological elves.

The Davis Zekthi modeled the final Lancer concept. The alien handle, geometric patterning, and wrapped knots all tied nicely together for this final design.

Elf technology underwent some redesign after lore and gameplay changes. Textures and colors were updated to be more leaf-like, reverting to the bio-organic look of earlier concepts. Subtle bio-electricity was also added to their emmissives.

Early sketches of the Elf Dropship. Holographic "wings" were considered after the recent gameplay and lore changes. These leaf-like holograms were to be featured more prominently in designs going foward.
